Man has fished and 'fowled these estuaries for millennia, and we share a pride in these ancient roots as we celebrate 70 years of Wildfowling & Conservation. We continue to practice these old skills of fieldcraft, the calculation of time, tide, and of course the shooting that enables us to take an occasional meal from nature's surplus.

Our work with Natural England on these marshes and foreshores of the Exe & Teign, some of which we now own and protect, continues as will the assistance we give to other organisations including, the East Devon Council, the Exe Estuary Partnership, the RSPB and the various Trusts around the area to conserve the estuary's natural heritage and keep them clean, safe and productive.
